Returns, Shortages & Claims
Something arrived damaged, short, or wrong? Here's exactly what to do, and what happens next.
First: tell your rep, fast
Every claim starts with your Seffla rep. Message them from your account or use the help button on any page. The sooner we know, the easier the claim: note damage on the delivery receipt where you can, and photos of damaged product and packaging make supplier claims near-automatic.
Shortages and mis-ships
Check received quantities against the packing slip within a few days of delivery. Your order page shows exactly what the supplier says shipped. Line by line, so discrepancies are easy to spot and easy for us to chase.
Damaged or defective product
Damage in transit and manufacturing defects are claimed with the supplier on your behalf. Each supplier has its own claims window and process; your rep handles the paperwork and keeps you posted. Credits appear against your account terms.
Returns of good product
Because pricing and freight are negotiated per account, returns of non-defective product are handled case-by-case with the supplier. Some lines accept restocking returns, others don't. Ask your rep before shipping anything back; unauthorized returns are the one thing suppliers reliably refuse.
Warranty
Manufacturer warranties apply to everything we sell. Your rep will route warranty claims to the right supplier contact and chase them to resolution.
